The #11-ranked Ohio State women’s basketball team (19-3, 8-2 Big Ten) fell behind by nine points in the first quarter to visiting Wisconsin (13-9, 5-6) Thursday, but roared back to beat the Badgers 60-45 in a Big Ten matchup.

The Buckeyes controlled the paint in outscoring Wisconsin 30-6 in shots from the lane Thursday night. That dominance gave OSU a 43-22 edge in the final three quarters. The Buckeye defense also played well, allowing only 17 Badger points in the second half, none in the fourth quarter.

Ohio State’s Jaloni Cambridge continued her solid play, leading all scorers on the night with 26 points. Elsa Lemmilä recorded another double-double with 12 points and a game-high 13 rebounds. Chance Gray added 10 points in the victory.

The Buckeyes are back at it Sunday when they welcome the Nebraska Cornhuskers (16-5, 5-5 Big Ten) to the Schottenstein Center with the tip-off scheduled for 6:00 p.m. All of the action can be seen on the Big Ten Network.
