After winning a big CONCACAF semifinal match over Liga MX’s Monterrey Wednesday, the Columbus Crew got back to MLS play with a home contest against CF Montréal Saturday. Despite both teams gaining good opportunities to score in front of a sold-out crowd at Lower.com Field Saturday, neither could cash in and the back-and-forth play resulted in a 0-0 draw. [More]

The PSRA (Professional Soccer Referee Association) and PRO (Professional Referee Organization) have agreed to a new CBA that will run until 2031, according to Pablo Maurer of The Athletic. A tentative deal was agreed to last week and those who regularly officiate MLS matches voted to accept the agreement late Monday night. [More]

The two teams met five times last year, with their recent matchups coming in the first round of the MLS Cup Playoffs presented by Audi.
