The Columbus Fury (5-13) hosted the Atlanta Vibe (12-8) Sunday at Nationwide Arena. The last time the two teams met, Columbus swept Atlanta in perhaps the Fury’s best performance of the season. On Sunday, the Vibe returned the favor, taking three sets to none for the victory.
Marengo native Terry Raina led the Fury with 11 kills, while setter Wilma Rivera recorded 20 assists. Libero Paula Cerame had a team-high 10 digs. Newly-signed veteran setter Nootsara Tomkom did play for a limited time in the third set.
The Fury head to Grand Rapids, Mich. for a match next Friday against the Vibe beginning at 7:00 p.m. Fans can watch the action on the Roku Channel.
