The Denison women’s golf team won their fifth straight NCAC tournament title after three rounds at Otter Creek Golf Course in Columbus, Ind. concluded Sunday. All five members of the team finished in the top ten as individuals, with sophomore Lizzy Grant leading the team with a second-place finish.
The Big Red were nine strokes ahead of second-place DePauw and 77 strokes in front of third-place Wittenberg. DePauw junior Becky Williams was the medalist of the tournament at +3 for her three rounds.
Besides Grant, the Denison team members and their place in individual competition were: junior Isaballa Dolan (T4), sophomore Natalia Fanucchi (T6), freshman Sienna Maschke (T6), and senior Ella McRoberts (10).
The Big Red will now head to the NCAA Division III Championship, taking place at Kingsmill Resort and Spa in Williamsburg, Va., May 13-16.
