The OHSAA Central District baseball brackets were announced after Sunday’s statewide tournament draw. This season’s tourney will feature seven divisions for the first time. The state finals will be played at Canal Park in Akron once again. Because of the additional divisions, some of the semi-final games will be played at Thurman Munson Memorial Stadium in Canton.

The Central District will have six district champions from Division I, five from Division II, two each from Division III, Division IV, and Division V, and one each from Division VI and Division VII. The #1 seeds from each division are: Olentangy Orange (DI), Big Walnut (DII), Bishop Watterson (DIII), Jonathan Alder (DIV), Worthington Christian (DV), West Jefferson (DVI), and Newark Catholic (DVII).

Central District tournament games begin as follows:

• Division I – Tuesday, May 27
• Division II – Saturday, May 24
• Division III – Friday, May 23
• Division IV – Thursday, May 22
• Division V – Friday, May 23
• Division VI – Tuesday, May 20
• Division VII – Tuesday, May 20
