Upper Arlington basketball player Alex Smith revealed on his X account that he has decided to play his senior season with Prolific Prep in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Smith, a 6’9″ power forward, has committed to play collegiately at Ohio State.

Smith averaged nearly 20 points a game during his junior campaign, which saw the Golden Bears advance to a Division I regional semi-final before being eliminated from post-season play.

Prolific Prep, which has produced 14 McDonald’s All-Americans and nine NBA players, is in the process of moving to Fort Lauderdale from Napa, California. The school’s latest NBA star is Houston Rocket Jalen Green.
