Buckeyes add another non-conference victory

The #21-ranked Ohio State women’s basketball team (10-1, 1-0 Big Ten) hosted the Norfolk State Spartans (5-9, 0-0 MEAC) Thursday and came away with a 79-45 win, in which 10 Buckeyes scored.

The Bucks were led by redshirt freshman Kylee Kitts, who recorded her second double-double of the season. The 6’4″ swing player from Oveida, Fla. had a team-high 13 points and 10 rebounds. 

Also in double figures for Ohio State was Jaloni Cambridge with 11 points and Dasha Biriuk with 10. Kennedy Cambridge paced the Buckeyes with six assists. Norfolk State’s Jasha Clinton led all scorers with 18.

OSU has one more game before the Christmas break. The Western Michigan Broncos (3-6, 0-0 MAC) come to Value City Arena Monday for a contest beginning at 6:30 p.m. The Buckeyes jump back into Big Ten play Sun., Dec. 28 when they host UCLA.
