In its final game of the regular season, the #14-ranked Ohio State Buckeyes lacrosse team (10-3, 3-2 Big Ten) fell behind 4-1 after a quarter of play to the visiting Michigan Wolverines (5-8, 2-3 Big Ten). The Buckeyes rallied and won the game, 9-8, after Garrett Haas scored the go-ahead goal with four seconds remaining on the clock.

Logan Soelberg paced the Bucks with three goals on the evening. Besides Haas, Alex Marinier, Cullen Brown, Olentangy Liberty alum Jake Struck, Liam White, and Jackson Birtwistle all had single tallies. Haas is tops on the squad this season with 40 points and has 23 goals, one behind team leader Marinier.

Goaltender Caleb Fyock picked up his ninth win of the season, stopping seven shots on goal. In his 13 games this season, the junior from Bowie, Maryland has a solid save percentage of .571 and goals against average of 7.40.

The Buckeyes trail #10-ranked Maryland by a half game in the Big Ten standings. The Terrapins play at #6 Johns Hopkins Saturday. The Blue Jays, who participate in the Big Ten in men’s lacrosse, are a half game behind Ohio State. The Big Ten tournament begins on Saturday, April 25.
