The Ohio State women’s and men’s tennis teams both clinched regular season titles Sunday. The women topped Washington 4-2 at home, while the men posted a 4-0 shutout at Nebraska.

The #5-ranked women’s squad is now 21-3 overall and 12-1 in the Big Ten. The Buckeyes last won the Big Ten in 2022 after sharing the 2021 crown with Michigan. This year Ohio State, Michigan, and USC were all 12-1 in Big Ten play to share the regular season title.

The #2 men’s team clinched a share of the Big Ten regular-season title for the 20th-consecutive year with a 12-1 conference record, tying Michigan State atop the standings. They finished the season with a 27-3 overall record.

Ohio State will serve as the host of the women’s Big Ten Tennis Tournament, which will begin Thursday. The top 12 teams in the final conference standings will compete for the trophy. The top four seeds, including OSU, receive a bye into the quarterfinals.

The men will begin Big Ten Tournament play in Ojai, Calif. as the No. 2 seed. They will face either No. 10 Nebraska or No. 7 Michigan in the quarterfinals. The tournament will go from Wednesday to Saturday at Libbey Park in Ojai.
