Ohio State added a goal to their lead at the end of three quarters, 9-7. Both teams scored four times in the fourth and the Buckeyes posted a 13-11 win on the road. They are now 3-0 away from Columbus.
Senior Alex Marinier paced the Buckeyes with three goals. Senior Jack McKenna, grad Ryan Donnery, senior Ed Shean, and senior Gannon Matthews each scored twice on the afternoon. Sophomore goalkeeper Caleb Fyock picked up his 10th win, making a season-high 19 saves.
Ohio State is back in action next Saturday as they travel back to the East Coast to play Johns Hopkins (6-4, 0-2) beginning at 2:00 p.m. The Blue Jays’ lacrosse teams play in the Big Ten. The men fell at Michigan, 11-8, Saturday.
