After sweeping the Quincy Hawks Friday, the Ohio State men’s volleyball squad (16-10, 11-5) downed the Hawks (8-19, 2-14) again Saturday at Quincy’s Pepsi Arena, this time in four sets – 28-26, 25-20, 22-25, 25-20.
With the wins, the Buckeyes take third place in the Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association (MIVA) and will play Lindenwood in the upcoming MIVA tournament at 5:00 p.m. on April 19 at the Covelli Center.
For the second day in a row, junior Shane Wetzel led OSU’s offensive attack. Wetzel had 20 kills and 11 digs, both team highs. Freshman Stanislaw Chacinski added 14 kills and eight digs. Freshman setter Daniel Henwood Rodriguez recorded 32 assists.

Ohio State won the tiebreaker with Lewis to place third.
