The Indy Ignite (10-8) won the first two sets against the visiting Columbus Fury (5-12) Thursday night in Indianapolis, but the Fury responded by taking the following two sets. In the deciding fifth set, the teams were deadlocked at 11-11, but the Ignite ended up winning it 15-13 to take the match, 3-2.
Marengo native Terry Raina paced the Fury with 18 kills and an impressive attack efficiency of 47%. Izabella Rapacz added 17 kills, while Kalee Cox had 14. Setter Wilma Rivera led with 45 assists and libero Kate Georgiades recorded a team-high 22 digs.
