It has been a season of streaks for the Columbus Fury (5-15). Unfortuately, they are suffering through their lastest, having lost seven of their last eight. The latest defeat came Sunday in Atlanta when the Vibe (14-8) swept the Fury, 3-0, the fourth straight loss for Columbus.
Megan Lush, who has returned to full participation after suffering a lower body injury several weeks ago, paced the Fury with six kills. Setter Tomkom Nootsara led Columbus with 16 assists, while libero Paula Cerame had 12 digs.
After two games on the road, the Fury return to Nationwide Arena Saturday for a match with the Indy Ignite. Columbus lost 3-2 to the Ignite in Indianapolis on March 20. Saturday’s action gets underway at 7:00 p.m.
