The Indy Ignite (10-8) won the first two sets against the visiting Columbus Fury (5-12) Thursday night in Indianapolis, but the Fury responded by taking the following two sets. It’s always a spirited affair when the women’s lacrosse teams from Ohio Wesleyan (6-3) and Capital (4-3) get together on the field, whether in Delaware or Bexley. On Wednesday, it was Capital’s turn to host their annual non-conference tilt. A goal from the Bishops with 2:05 left in the game gave them a 17-16 road win. [More]

The Columbus Fury won their opening set in Orlando Sunday, then lost three straight to find themselves on the losing end. The Fury started well against the Valkyries.
