Ohio State women's basketball continues to win big

The #19-ranked Ohio State women’s basketball team (11-1, 1-0 Big Ten) hosted the Western Michigan Broncos (3-7, 0-0 MAC) Tuesday evening and came away with a 95-47 non-conference victory.

All 11 Buckeyes who played, scored in the win, led by Elsa Lemmilä off the bench with 15 points. Four other OSU players were in double digits: Kylee Kitts and Jaloni Cambridge each had 14 points, while Chance Gray scored 13 with Kennedy Cambridge adding 10.

Kitts paced the Buckeyes with nine rebounds. Ava Watson played 24 minutes off the bench and led OSU with six assists. Head coach Kevin McGuff’s squad has now won nine straight after falling to #1-ranked Connecticut on Nov. 16 in Hartford.

Ohio State gets back to conference play this Sunday when #4-ranked UCLA (11-1, 1-0 Big Ten) comes to Value City Arena for a 2:00 p.m. tip-off. The Bruins’ only loss came to #2 Texas on Nov. 26.
