OHSAA basketball on court

The girls have played through the district level in this year’s OHSAA tournament and here are the 18 Central Ohio champions in all seven divisions and where they’re headed (division champs in capital letters):

DIVISION I 

– OLENTANGY LIBERTY beat Newark 50-43 and will play crosstown rival OLENTANGY, who beat Hilliard Bradley 58-18. This regional semi-final will take place at the Ohio Expo Center at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 26.

– DUBLIN JEROME beat Hilliard Darby 48-40 and will play PICKERINGTON CENTRAL, who beat Marysville 66-48. The Celts and the Tigers will tip off in this regional semi-final at the Ohio Expo Center on Wednesday, February 26 at 6:00 p.m. 

– UPPER ARLINGTON beat Grove City 54-46 in double overtime and will move to the regional to be played at Fairborn High School against SPRINGBORO on Wednesday, February 26 with the tipoff slated for 7:00 p.m.

DIVISION II

– BISHOP WATTERSON beat Westerville Central 31-27 and will play WESTERVILLE SOUTH, who beat Dublin Scioto 64-29. This regional semi-final will take place at Pickerington High School North at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 25.

– BIG WALNUT beat Canal Winchester 48-40 and will play WORTHINGTON KILBOURNE, who beat Mount Vernon 53-41. The Golden Eagles and Wolves will tip off in this regional semi-final on Tuesday, February 25 at Pickerington High School North at 6:00 p.m.

DIVISION III

– GRANVILLE beat Centennial 48-38 and will play Lima Senior/Elida at Bluffton University on Wednesday, February 26 at 6:00 p.m.

– BLOOM-CARROLL beat Bishop Hartley 55-41 and will play ST. VINCENT-ST. MARY at Zanesville High School at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 26.

DIVISION IV

– BUCKEYE VALLEY beat London 49-37 and will play CARROLLTON at Zanesville High School on Tuesday, February 25 at 6:00 p.m.

DIVISION V

– JOHNSTOWN beat Amanda-Clearcreek 44-22 and will play OTTAWA-GLANDORF at Ridgedale High School at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 26.

– AFRICENTRIC beat Fredericktown 46-38 and will play CLEAR FORK at Ridgedale High School at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 26.

DIVISION VI

– HARVEST PREP beat Cardington-Lincoln 59-36 and will play FEDERAL HOCKING at Pickerington High School North on Thursday, February 27 at 8:00 p.m.

– NEWARK CATHOLIC beat Centerburg 40-33 and will play ANNA at Springfield High School on Wednesday, February 26 at 6:00 p.m.

DIVISION VII

– FISHER CATHOLIC beat Shekinah Christian 59-29 and will play WATERFORD at Logan High School on Thursday, February 26 at 6:00 p.m.

– DELAWARE CHRISTIAN beat the Wellington School 36-23 and will play FORT LORAMIE at Butler High School on Wednesday, February 26 at 6:00 p.m.
